In February 2024, we worked on another re-roofing project in the South Hams.
Preparation for the project was carried out during January 2024, working alongside Devon Building Control.
There were a number of different stages carried out during the project:
- We carefully removed the existing asbestos sheets. (A certificate was then issued for the removal and disposal.)
- Fitted new rafters.
- Felted and battened the roof.
- Fitted hooks for a new solar system.
- Chimney work (Lead Flashings).
- Slated and ridged the roof.
- Fitted a new fascia, along with gutters and downpipes.
- Removed all waste from site.
The project was completed within a month, on time and on budget.
