Newton Abbot Fibreglass Flat Roofing & Sky Pod Installation
We replaced an ageing felt flat roof in Newton Abbot, renewed structural timbers and installed a durable fibreglass roofing system with a new sky pod.
Project Overview
About this roofing project.
South Hams Roofing Services completed a project in Newton Abbot where we removed the felt on an old flat roof, replaced some timbers and added some structural timbers to support a flat roof sky pod.
We boarded over the structure with an 18mm OSB, fitted the fibreglass roof edge trims and applied a 600g fibreglass matting with flat roof resin.
Once the fibreglass had cured, we prepared the area and applied a slate grey fibreglass flat roofing topcoat.
Finally, we fitted the flat roof sky pod and then plastered and painted the internal ceiling.
